Crisis & Intervention

Care for people in Crisis can be provided in different ways. The Mobile Crisis Intervention Team works with people in the community to try and avoid hospitalization, while still providing assessment and support. The emergency psychiatric team is situated in the emergency department to provide assessment and support for people presenting in Crisis. The Urgent Care service provides immediate short-term follow-up after an emergency visit.
