Cardio-Respiratory

Made up of two distinct services, this Department provides clinical and diagnostic interventions to an inpatient and outpatient population.

Our Cardiology Service provides expertise consisting of cardiologists and cardiac diagnostic technicians/technologists who offer a full range of non-invasive diagnostic testing to provide information on the heart and its function. Typical tests are cardiac stress testing, pulmonary function testing, echocardiogram, holter monitoring, and electrocardiograms.

Our Respiratory Therapy Service consists of respirologists, respiratory therapists, pulmonary function technologists, and polysomnographers who provide respiratory diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions. Our team diagnoses and treats those with respiratory disease, and provides education in the management of their care. This Department includes the Sleep Lab, Pacemaker Clinic and, under the direction of a nurse co-ordinator and respirolgists, the Respiratory Ambulatory Care Program.

Cardio-Respiratory Services is located on the First Floor, East Wing, Room 1E 132. For more information, please call 416-530-6325.
