As part of the Toronto Pre-school Speech and Language Services, our Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) assess pre-school children for speech development. The SLP is a key contributor to the developmental assessment of children under age six who have been referred by a physician or a community partner. A speech assessment is also part of a developmental assessment in our Neonatal Follow-up Clinic. Early identification, diagnosis and therapy help prepare children for greater success in school.
