The Women's, Children's and Family Health Program provides holistic specialized and primary care to families throughout the life span.
Our Family Birthing Centre and Level II NICU offers a full continuum of care for women and their newborns before, during and after birth. More than 3,251 babies were born here in 2007-2008. As a Regional Level II Paediatric Centre, our interprofessional team provides care that includes comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Paediatric services including Paediatric Specialty consultation clinics and our urgent care Just for Kids Clinic.
Our Child Development Clinic, a partnership with Bloorview Kids Rehab started in 2004, serves the needs of families whose children are experiencing developmental concerns.
St. Joseph’s Family Medicine Team offers comprehensive care to all members of the family and educates up to 26 family practice medical residents each year. St. Joseph's Urban Family Health Team is the first academic interprofessional Family Health Team in Toronto.
The Women's Health Centre provides specialized psycho-social care services to some of the most disenfranchised and disadvantaged women in the community, such as counseling for victims of violence and post-partum depression.
