Professionals who provide health care share the accountability for the well-being of patients and have a duty to act when concerned about a patient’s condition or the appropriateness of the treatment program.
St. Joseph's has established a Chain of Communications process so patients know who they can talk to if they have a question or concern about their plan of care. The Chain of Communications information is posted on every unit. For more information, please speak to your health care provider when you are in the Health Centre.
