St. Joseph’s Health Centre (SJHC) is subject to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) as of January 1, 2012. This statute promotes the privacy of individuals and provides a right of access to records in our custody or under the control of the hospital on or after January 1, 2007, with some restrictions. We promote an environment of openness and transparency within the community.
Directory of Records
A Directory of Records lists and provides general descriptions of the types of records held by St. Joseph’s Health Centre. The purpose of the directory is to assist the public to understand what records the hospital maintains and to prepare requests for records.
It describes the following categories of the hospital’s record holdings:
