St. Joseph Health Centre:Annual Report

Half a million people in Toronto’s West end rely on us for their healthcare needs. Health care is always changing and, at St. Joe’s, we need to change right along with it. The next three years will transform the way that we provide care to meet the rapidly evolving needs of the communities we serve.

We’re committed to, and excited by, the opportunities that the future holds for us and we have worked hard to develop a plan to take us forward. Our plan was developed after an innovative consultation process that included conversations with almost a thousand people - staff, patients and stakeholders. The result: a recommitment to our Vision to be Canada’s Best Community Teaching Hospital and sound advice on what it will take for us to be successful.

In November of 2007, the Board of Directors endorsed our new strategy. The strategy is supported by five success factors that define our commitment to the communities we serve.
