Redevelopment Update
After many years of planning and preparation, the Our Lady of Mercy (OLM) Wing at St. Joseph’s Health Centre is now open and full of patients. On Sunday, July 15 staff met in the Cafeteria bright and early for a kick off meeting and toast to the move. Patients, accompanied by the transport teams, began the five minute trek at 7:00 a.m. sharp with the last patient arriving in their bed at approximately 11:40 a.m. Please click here to keep reading about this exciting move.
To prepare for the move Health Care Relocations was on site for a Mock Move in early June. Please click here to read more about our Mock Move and watch a video from both the patient’s and mover’s perspective!
